Poo-fest 2008

Well yesterday while I was in the office, yes it was a Sunday, I called home to check things out and see how things were going. Well I found out that Harlan had decided to make some artwork with some poo. She managed to cover the front door and several toys before Dana noticed. Ah the fun.

Really talking now

Well Lanier is just talking and talking. Granted we can only make out a few things. But she is getting some sentences out. If you sneeze, she will say “You OK’ . Harlan is coming along as well, but just doesn’t seem as talkative as Lanier does.

Harlan does have one funny, I was laying in bed with her to get her to go to sleep. Dana was in the hall, and while laying there I passed gas rather loudly. Harlan’s eyes got big and she said woooo, then she reach around and patted her rear and looked at me and said “You poo-poo,” it was way too funny

Georgia Send off

I have posted some photos from the Basketball version of the Dawg Walk. This is really the send off for the Basketball team to the NCAA Tourney. We will be playing Xavier in Washington, DC. This is a #3 vs #14 match-up, with Georgia being the 14.

New Camera

Well Dana has gotten her new Camera. She got a Nikon D80 with a 18-135 lens. So far we are just playing with to to learn the camera, but we have posted some of the better pics, or what we think are good pics to the web gallery. Click Test Photos below to see some shots that we have so far.

Daylight Savings Time

Well that time has come where we set the clocks ahead and again the girls are having a hard time adjusting to the new bedtime. For that matter we are having a hard time. I never did like switching the clocks around. Hopefully at some point someone will say that we don’t need to do that anymore.

New Pics added to Web Gallery

I have added a new web gallery for Lanier having fun eating her pudding. I also added one of Harlan drawing on her pad while sitting on her bed.

While adding the web gallery, I decided to break up the galleries to have one for each year. This should help it load faster. So I did a Birth to 2007 (gallery 1) and 2008 as gallery 2

Lanier vs the Bed

Well its been a rough week for Lanier. This time she lost a battle with the bed. While sitting on my lap in her bed, she decided she wanted to move to the other side of me. In the process slipped on caught the foot board with her nose. With this I’m starting a gallery for boo-boo’s for each girl. I’ll be uploading those later this week. I will post the links once I filter all the pics to pull out the boo-boo’s.

Lanier not to be out done

Lanier not to be out done in the busted lip area, decided she needed one. Or maybe more of the truth is maybe Harlan decided she needed one. We were playing with some blankets in the living room and they were running around with them on their heads like little ghosts. Lanier falls down and Harlan sees that has a great place to sit and boom right on Lanier’s head, thus the busted lip. I have the pics here.
